An informal get together at Mt Elliott Corryong – good weather, fine company and a warm river .

Saturday
We met at 11:30 on Saturday at the Corryong bakery, feasted then drove up to join Craig and Viv.

By 1:00 the sky was looking good, Basil cannily flunked his launch to allow Brett to take point as wind dummy – a few turns and he was above launch so off we all went.

For many of us a gorgeous day with broad lift topping out at 1,800m rising to 2,400m by 5:00 – Heike and Michelle were still flying at 6:30 finding it hard to get down over Corryong.

Straight into dinner at the pub, quick wash in the river – light the fire and start on the toasted marshmallows and jelly bean chocolate – good bottle of red, a few tall stories then out like a light.

Sunday

Front pushing in, wind up higher – Brett goes up early, braves the day and flies to Khancoban – we all swim in the river and soak up the sun.

Corryong - A great place to fly and just as good a place to chill.

Thanks to Craig, Vic, Basil, Simon, Neil, Rod, David, Rod n Michelle, Brian n Barb n Maggie, Heike, Heike 2, Tania, Brett n Sascha, Sydney, Sian, Crannie and Gavin.
