I have about 1300 hours of flight time.

3. When did you learn to fly and where?
I’m a coastal pilot by trade, learning at Stanwell Tops.

Best site in Australia: Mt Borah

5. Best site O/S:
Best site overseas: Taylor’s Mistake, Christchurch, NZ

6. Best comp task you’ve flown so far, the most memorable:
Best competition task was a 100km task from Mt Borah to a goal the other side of Narrabri, not only was it my first task victory, but I was on my third beer when the next guy arrived.

7. Why do you fly:
All work and no play is not very gay

8. Best flight ever:
Best flight ever was cruising at 4500m at 90kmh during a flight from Mt Borah to Ebor (160 plus kilometers).

9. Worst flying experience so far:
Worst flight was a tree landing a Blackheath.

10. What tips can you give to newcomers to the sport:
Don’t listen to pilots who stand around launch all day, when everybody else is flying.

12. What are your other favourite hobbies/sports:
Bushwalking, Mountain-biking, Rock-Climbing, Diving, Cooking lasagna.

I have never thrown my reserve.

16. Biggest flying mistake so far?
Choosing to land at Ebor when I had a good chance of making the coast (see Q.8)

To promote world peace through paragliding

In 10 years I hope I won’t still be living with my Mum
